This tool set it very nicely designed from an architecture
viewpoint and provides some nice features that allow it to co-exist
with datasnap components, in case you are
as I am and tend to view things from a datasnap paradigm.
We are intending to use RemObjects alongside the Developer Express Web Framework components for our commercial application (Active! Focus). RO and EWF are an extremely powerful and the optimal combination after having reviewed the alternatives. Click here to read the complete text. - Xavier Pacheco (Xapware Technologies Inc.) |

"RemObjects provides the highest performing messaging and RPC implementation available for Delphi today.
Without it, I would be stuck in the DCOM hell of annoyed network admins and annoyed users. There is no simpler way to
build sophisticated distributed applications with Delphi than RemObjects.
"The possibility for innovation is endless and relatively painless. In other words: RemObjects is the Delphi way to powerful distributed applications." - Dave Fuller |

"I'm impressed by what RemObjects SDK can do, especially when it comes
to flexibility (adding your own message formats or communication channel
protocols) and efficiency.
"I can't wait until the Kylix version comes out so I can try this in a cross-platform setting. If you're only remotely interesting in this stuff, make sure to download the trial version and find out what it can mean for you." "I just downloaded and installed RemObjects. A two person's team just
did more then few big companies were able to deliver - a fast, easy to
use, flexible, powerful and very elegant solution. Way to go guys. I
wish such approach to programming would take place on wider
scale."

"RemObjects is a powerful yet easy-to-use library that makes it possible to
build multi-tier solutions in one go. RemObjects is fantastic because of
it's fexibility and extensiblity. For example while it comes with several
transport layers such as TCP, HTTP and WM_COPYDATA for IPC out of the box,
it's very easy to write your own transport extensions for it."

"I just wanted to take a second and share with my customers - this is a very
cool tool! I am still learning how/what etc that I can do with RemObjects,
it is SOAP done right for Delphi! Alef and Marc have out-done Borland, and
with DXSock under the hood - giving it a little more tweak - it blows
Borland SOAP away."

"For some feedback, I ordered and received RemObjects today and saw this
article on the website. I started to implement it myself, since it seemed
like a simple test.
"Then it occurred to me that program comments in SAP are more often than not written in German. So, being an SAP developer, I spent the afternoon enhancing the SAP program editor to pass selected text to an automation server which I wrote with Delphi and RemObjects. The server translates the selected text from German to English via the BabelFish website (as per the example) and displays the results in a pop-up window." Easy. - Scott Barden (Basis Technologies) |

"You all Rock !!
"I've never seen such involvement and sheer joy of work. You're as excited as small kids at Christmas, and that's cool. This is going to be fun." "I've finally got to look at the demos [...]. What an elegant way to do things! The framework's so flexible that you can send anything back and forth from the client to the server." - Kai Bohli |

RemObjects is a remoting solution that addresses MIDAS problems. [Competitor] is very impressive, and all, but the licencing cost is
problematic and I feel that I can "roll my own" alternative with RO and not have to worry about licences.
This makes implementing an "alternative" or "enhanced" administrative interface to a website (for example) realistic and issue-free. Over the next couple of weeks I am going to be putting together some "gadgets" for one of my websites as showcases of how technology can be used by our clients. Without RO this would have been unjustifiably expensive in terms of development time etc. RO is very useful to me, so thanks for producing this. Shame I didn't know about it until recently..I would have bitten your arm off for this a year ago. - Charles Line (CLS Web Development Ltd.) |

"Freakin' hell, these are exciting times to be a Delphi developer!!
First, DevExpress have EQ4 (and suggest new releases of some other of their
products are coming soon), then we get RemObjects which has completely
changed the way I develop applications (both desktop *and* multi-tier
apps!), plus all the promising things coming up from these two vendors..."

"Thank you very much for your AWESOME support and products. They open
up all kinds of possibilities. I'm only at the tip of the iceberg. The
possibilities are endless."

"You don't really appreciate the power, simplicity, and elegance of RemObjects until
you try to develop web services without it."
